We are specifically looking for a passionate people leader who has demonstrated experience in unionized environments (this is critical and non-negotiable):Lead the HR function across North America, aligning people strategy with business goals and field service operationsServe on the Executive Leadership Team, advising on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce planningAct as a trusted counsel to the CEO and senior leadersOversee the HR budget with monthly/quarterly P&L reviewRebuild a culture of accountability, clarity, and high performanceOptimize onboarding and embed values-driven leadership standards across all levelsManage HR for a transient, technically skilled, blue-collar workforce across unionized and non-unionized sites, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and performanceDrive better use of HR systems to improve data, workflows, and process efficiencyLead core programs-benefits, compensation, compliance, workforce relations-and develop a high-performing HR teamBuild leadership capability and succession across the businessEstablish KPIs, support field operations, implement random drug testing, and design a comprehensive compensation structure, including pay range frameworks and billable vs. non-billable rate modelsThe Successful Applicant- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership, ideally in field services, industrial, construction, or heavy manufacturing environments- Experience supporting multi-location operations in both union and non-union contexts- Proven track record leading cultural transformation, driving accountability, and elevating teams- Confident, resilient and not afraid to roll up sleeves-this role is as operational as it is strategic- Strong systems and HR technology acumen-someone who can make systems work for people- Previous experience with blue-collar, field-based workforces and the realities of high-volume contractor oversight- Known for being mature, approachable, yet direct and respected as a partner to the C-suiteWhat's on OfferEstimated salary package range of $225,000 - $250,000, commensurate with experienceOpportunities for personal and professional growthPositive and high-performance company cultureStrategic role with significant impact on the organizationThis is a tremendous opportunity to join a large organization in the property industry in Houston.
