Caroline Gellrich - van Brakel

Caroline Gellrich - van Brakel is a Senior Partner and Head of Page Executive for Germany, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). 

Dutch by nationality, but raised in Belgium and with two degrees from Leuven and Barcelona (a Bachelor’s in Commercial Engineering and a Master's in International Business respectively), Caroline epitomises the continental mindset. Her fluency in Dutch, English, German and Spanish, with French not far behind, make her an elite communicator backed by first-hand cultural understanding and sensitivities. 

After four years of business consulting at a Big Four firm in Barcelona, Caroline relocated to Dusseldorf and redirected her already considerable skill set to recruitment in July 2010. She quickly absorbed more responsibility to lead three teams: Sales and Marketing, IT and Engineering. Drawing on her project and process management know-how, Caroline went on to build enterprise business solutions for the whole of Germany and a delivery centre (SSC) in yet another geography — Istanbul. 

After thirteen success-filled years, Caroline made the step up to Page Executive to expand internationally and work with clients more strategically to find C-level, board and senior leadership placements primarily in the consumer and industrial sectors. Now, as a Senior Partner, Caroline leads by example. She is fully invested in the development of her team, the success of her clients and the promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion as well as environment, social and corporate governance within executive search. As her past clients frequently point out, Caroline’s combination of sleek professionalism and innate interpersonal skills breathe trust into her assignments, and her stellar track record speaks for itself. 

Having lived in a variety of locations across Europe, it’s hardly surprising that Caroline is a keen traveller. But she’s also a fan of the simple things and loves nothing more than dinner with friends and family, sports and spending time with her husband and son.
