Lorena Gutiérrez Filomeno is an esteemed Page Executive Partner and Global Lead for our Human Resources practice. Both a manager and consultant, she pairs extensive international business development experience with a steadfast commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. 

Lorena has always been an overachiever. In the space of just four years, she earned two master’s degrees in Psychology and a business school Master's in Human Resources (ESCP), all while gaining valuable experience with international non-profit organisations, such as the Red Cross and Les Apprentis d’Auteuil in which she was part of her first EXCO. Her professional life is no different, with two stints at French CAC 40 companies. She further deepened her insights into human resources with a business-parter-like vision in l’Oréal and helped to build the global HR Academy for Saint Gobain.

Within recruitment, Lorena rapidly rose as a consultant before turning her hand to management. Her enviable CV includes holding a seat on our Shadow Executive Board and today steering our global HR Practice. She also takes a keen interest in ethics, contributing fervently to our Diversity@Page programmes, and launching the Page Executive Sustainability and ESG division in France.

Hand-picked to join Page Executive as a Partner in 2022, Lorena thrived with the responsibility of helping to implement a new strategy in France alongside her role as global HR lead. Her Peruvian origins and curiosity for the world give her a dynamic international mindset, frequently travelling between Latin America, the USA and Europe. As she aptly puts it, the constant exposure to different cultures forces you to “observe and listen in order to adapt”. With such a multicultural background, Lorena excels in opening global clients up to French and European business models. 

Lorena injects insights from her strategic and managerial responsibilities into her consultancy work, guiding clients, Managing Directors, and CEOs to explore new ways of thinking. She believes that executive search professionals must reinvent their job with every brief, tailoring their strategy to find the right result-oriented and cultural fit. She has had the opportunity to open new markets for the Group in France and assists the business growth abroad with the leadership team of her clients. 

While Lorena’s main focus is on senior HR and Sustainability profiles, she can efficiently channel her tenacity, innovative thinking and results to C-level and board-level assignments from all industries and professions. Past clients consistently praise her ability to quickly understand their business and its needs, while her impressive track record is a testament to her results-oriented approach.

Outside of executive search, Lorena displays the same empathy and passion that epitomises her as a recruiter. She represents a Peruvian NGO that she assisted in preparation for a meeting at the UN, and volunteers as a coach to Forces Femmes, an organisation dedicated to helping women over 45 to find jobs. In her downtime, you can usually find Lorena travelling, dancing, exploring new eateries and spending time with family and friends.
