Barbara Schless

Barbara Schless is an Associate Partner at Page Executive and an ESG specialist. She brings her expertise to recruit senior and C-level profiles for organisations within the Dutch consumer market.

Barbara started her recruitment career at Michael Page in the Netherlands in 2015 and still maintains the relentless passion she started with. She built successful P&Ls multiple times from scratch. In 2020, Barbara transferred to Australia where she made a phenomenal impact as the chair of both the Ability and Giving Back committees. In addition to the interim Supply Chain discipline, she established an ESG discipline. During this time, she gained valuable recruitment experience across a diverse clientele spanning before deciding to concentrate on the consumer sector.  

Before joining the recruitment industry Barbara worked as a Key Account Manager within the software industry. She completed her Master of Science in Strategic Marketing back in the UK. 

With professional work experience in Spain, the UK, Ireland, Australia and The Netherlands, Barbara has gained a great amount of international experience and a well-rounded worldview that comes across in her work. Her deep understanding of the global consumer market together with her commitment help her to make a positive impact on her assignments. With a high level of curiosity and a positive drive to learn and improve, it’s no surprise that she has made a name for herself in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) space. 

In her assignments, Barbara is committed to long-term solutions. Her clear and transparent working style guides clients through the recruitment process. An effective executive search professional who can fine-tune their brief, adding her international knowledge.

Barbara's commitment to the environment, society and governance issues spreads outside of the office too. She lives a full and rich life, supporting charities, playing hockey and tennis and pursuing her passion for sailing.
